Appropriate Use Of Force

The Five Hour in person Appropriate Use of Force course will introduce, instruct, and familiarize individuals on the appropriate use of force topics listed in section 7583.7 of the Business and Professions Code.
Includes State Forms, Test, and Certificate of Completion.
* This course does NOT cover the required livescan/fingerprinting, application processing assistance, or any state fees.

Refund Policy

At Six Maritime, we strive to provide exceptional learning experiences through our public courses. We understand that sometimes circumstances may arise which require you to cancel or reschedule your participation. To ensure clarity and fairness for all participants, we have implemented the following refund policy: Cancellation and Refund Eligibility.

Participants are eligible for a full refund if the cancellation is made at least two business days prior to the scheduled start date of the course.

  • A cancellation made within two Business days of the scheduled start date will not be eligible for a refund. 
  • No refunds will be provided for “e; no call, no show “e; instances where a participant fails to attend the course without prior notice.

Rescheduling

  • Participants may request to reschedule their course attendance up to two Business days prior to the scheduled start date without incurring any additional fees, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made within two days of the scheduled start date will be accommodated based on availability and may be subject to a rescheduling fee.

Grace period

  • Participants are granted a Ten-minute grace period from the scheduled start time of the course. If a participant arrives within this buffer period, they will be allowed to join the session. However, if they arrive more than TEN minutes late, they may be denied entry to the course, and no refund or rescheduling will be provided.

Refund process

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected] with the subject line: “e ;Course Refund Request – [Course Name]”e 
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to be processed. Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment.

Exceptions

  • In exceptional circumstances such as unforeseen emergencies or extenuating circumstances, Six Maritime reserves the right to review and consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

By registering for our public courses, participants acknowledge and agree to abide by this refund policy.
